Combat zinc deficiency naturally with our high‑potency ZSB bio‑fertilizer. Converts insoluble zinc in soil into plant‑available form, promoting root growth, chlorophyll synthesis, and higher grain yield. Packed in a durable 25 Kg industrial drum – perfect for large‑scale farming.
Key Features
- Active Ingredients: Bacillus spp., Pseudomonas spp. – minimum 1 x 10⁸ CFU/g
- Packaging: 25 Kg HDPE drum with airtight, resealable lid
- Benefits: Corrects zinc deficiency, enhances root development, improves grain filling, increases crop resistance to stress
- Crops: Cereals (rice, wheat, maize), pulses, oilseeds, vegetables, fruits, cotton
- Organic Input: Safe for sustainable and organic agriculture
Why Zinc & Why ZSB?
Zinc is an essential micronutrient critical for enzyme activation, auxin synthesis, and chlorophyll formation. Zinc deficiency is widespread, leading to stunted growth, poor grain filling, and reduced yield. However, most soil zinc exists in insoluble forms (zinc carbonate, zinc phosphate) that plants cannot absorb. Zinc Solubilizing Bacteria produce organic acids (gluconic, citric, lactic) and siderophores that solubilize fixed zinc, making it available to plant roots.
Key Benefits
- Corrects Zinc Deficiency: Prevents symptoms like chlorosis, stunted growth, and “little leaf” in crops.
- Boosts Grain Yield: Enhances grain filling and protein content, especially in cereals and pulses.
- Improves Root Architecture: Stimulates lateral root proliferation, increasing water and nutrient uptake.
- Increases Stress Tolerance: Improves resistance to drought, heat, and soil salinity.
- Synergistic Effect: Enhances availability of phosphorus and nitrogen, maximizing fertilizer efficiency.
Usage Instructions
Application Rate (per acre):
- Soil Application: Mix 2.5 Kg to 5 Kg of ZSB with 50–100 Kg of well‑decomposed FYM or compost. Broadcast uniformly during final land preparation or apply in rows/bands at sowing or transplanting.
- Seed Treatment (optional): Mix 200–250 g of ZSB with 500 mL of water, coat seeds evenly, and shade‑dry before sowing.
Application Method:
- Mix ZSB with organic manure or compost.
- Maintain slight moisture (30–40%) for 24–48 hours to allow bacterial multiplication.
- Apply uniformly to the root zone.
- For best results, apply at the time of sowing/planting or within 30 days after transplanting.
Note: Avoid direct exposure to sunlight; apply during early morning or late evening. Do not mix with chemical fungicides, bactericides, or strong acids/alkalies.
Why the 25 Kg Drum?
The 25 Kg industrial drum is designed for large‑scale farmers, cooperatives, and distributors. Its robust, resealable construction maintains bacterial viability even after multiple uses, ensuring consistent potency from the first application to the last. The bulk format reduces packaging waste and provides cost‑effective per‑acre input.
