Pseudomonas Fluorescens Liquid Biofertilizer

Pseudomonas fluorescens is a plant-growth-promoting rhizobacterium (PGPR) and bio-fungicide that colonizes roots, produces antifungal metabolites, induces systemic resistance (ISR), and enhances nutrient uptake. Formulated at  2 × 10⁸ CFU/ml, in liquid formula it provides chemical-free disease control and yield improvement.

Usage Instructions

1. Dosage: 2 litres/acre in 200 L water for soil drench/foliar spray.

2. Timing: Apply at sowing, transplanting, or early disease signs; avoid hot/dry conditions (>35°C).

3. Target Pathogens:

   • Fusarium oxysporum (wilt), Rhizoctonia solani (damping-off), Pythium spp. (root rot)

   • Phytophthora infestans (late blight), Magnaporthe grisea (rice blast)

4. Method:

   • Soil: Drench root zone or mix with compost (1 kg/100 kg).

   • Seeds: Treat with 10 ml/kg slurry (add 10% jaggery as adhesive).

5. Frequency: Apply every 15 days; reapply after flooding/heavy rain.

6. Compatibility: Avoid copper-based fungicides; compatible with Trichoderma viride and Bacillus subtilis.

7. Activation: Maintain soil moisture >50% for 48 hours to boost colonization.

8. Safety: Non-phytotoxic; safe for earthworms, fish, and pollinators.
