Bioslurry for Citrus is a specialized multi-microbial biological formulation developed to support healthy root development, beneficial rhizosphere activity, improved nutrient availability, biological soil fertility and vigorous tree growth in Citrus orchards.

The beneficial microbial consortium works around the active feeder-root zone to support nutrient cycling, organic matter decomposition and soil microbial activity. It can be incorporated into nutrient-management programs for Orange, Mandarin, Sweet Lime, Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit and other Citrus crops.

Suitable for Citrus nurseries, young orchards, mature trees, high-density plantations and commercial Citrus farming.

Key Benefits

  • Supports strong and healthy feeder-root development
  • Promotes beneficial rhizosphere microorganisms
  • Helps maintain biological soil fertility
  • Supports nutrient availability and uptake
  • Supports nutrient cycling around the root zone
  • Encourages healthy vegetative growth
  • Supports canopy and shoot development
  • Helps maintain active soil microbial populations
  • Supports organic matter decomposition
  • Supports plant nutrition during flowering
  • Supports nutrient availability during fruit set
  • Supports fruit development through balanced root-zone nutrition
  • Suitable for young and mature Citrus trees
  • Compatible with FYM, compost and vermicompost
  • Supports integrated and biological orchard management

Why Use Bioslurry for Citrus?

Citrus is a perennial fruit crop that depends on healthy feeder roots, balanced nutrition and biologically active soil for sustained tree growth, flowering, fruit set and fruit development.

Beneficial microorganisms contribute to nutrient cycling and biological activity within the Citrus rhizosphere. Bioslurry can complement organic manure and balanced fertilizer programs to support healthy trees and maintain biologically active orchard soils.

Regular biological soil management can be an important part of long-term Citrus orchard management, especially where maintaining root-zone activity and soil organic matter is a priority.

Recommended Uses

Citrus Nursery: Supports beneficial microbial activity around developing roots.

At Transplanting: Apply around newly planted trees to support root-zone establishment.

Young Orchard: Incorporate into nutrient programs during active root and canopy development.

Pre-Flowering: Use as part of balanced biological nutrient management before flowering.

Fruit Set & Development: Helps maintain nutrient availability and root-zone biological activity during reproductive growth.

Established Orchard: Periodic application can be incorporated into regular orchard soil and nutrient-management programs.

Application Method

Apply Bioslurry around the active feeder-root zone of Citrus trees or mix thoroughly with well-decomposed FYM, compost or vermicompost before soil application.

For established trees, distribute the material around the active root zone rather than placing it directly against the trunk.

Maintain suitable soil moisture following application to encourage microbial establishment and activity.

Exact dosage and application frequency should be selected according to microbial concentration, tree age, rootstock, soil condition, organic matter content, irrigation system and existing nutrient-management program.

Suitable For

Orange, Mandarin, Sweet Orange, Sweet Lime, Mosambi, Lemon, Lime, Grapefruit, Kinnow and other commercially cultivated Citrus species and hybrids.
