Bio Slurry: Comprehensive Microbial Consortia for Soil & Plant Health

An All-in-One Microbial Powerhouse for Sustainable Agriculture

Our Bio Slurry is a potent, fermented liquid inoculant containing a synergistic consortium of 15+ beneficial microorganisms. Designed as a complete soil and plant health manager, it simultaneously enriches soil fertility, suppresses pathogens, controls pests, and unlocks the full growth potential of your crops, naturally.

Base:

Available in specialized formulations for targeted soil application:

  • Wettable Powder (WP): For soil drench, drip irrigation, and seed treatment.

  • Water soluble form dextrose: For direct soil broadcast and deep placement.

Microbial Composition & Functions

The slurry contains a strategic blend of microorganisms, each playing a specific role:

Microbial Group

Key Strains (Examples)

Nutrient Managers

Fix atmospheric Nitrogen, solubilize locked Phosphorus, and mobilize Potassium for plant uptake.

Azotobacter, PSB (Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria), KMB (Potash Mobilizing Bacteria)

Biocontrol Agents

Suppress soil-borne fungal pathogens (like Fusarium, Rhizoctonia) and induce systemic plant resistance.

Trichoderma viride & harzianumPseudomonas fluorescensBacillus spp.

Bio-Pesticides

Act as natural parasites against insect pests and nematodes in the soil.

Beauveria bassianaMetarhizium anisopliaePaecilomyces spp.

Micronutrient Specialists

Solubilize and make essential micronutrients available to plants.

Ferrous, Zinc, Silicon, Sulfur bacteria (V.B.M. - Vital Bio Micronutrients)

 Step-by-Step Preparation Method

  1. Ingredients:

    • 1 kg of Bio Slurry Starter Consortia Powder

    • 50 Liters of clean water (non-chlorinated is best)

    • 1 kg Jaggery (as a food source for microbes)

    • 500 g Besan (Gram Flour) powder (as a protein source)

  2. Process:

    • Take a clean plastic or cement tank/barrel.

    • Add the 1 kg Bioslurry Powder into 50 liters of water.

    • Dissolve 1 kg jaggery and 500 g besan powder in the mixture.

    • Stir thoroughly. Cover the container with a breathable cloth or lid (not airtight).

    • Fermentation: Stir the mixture 2-3 times daily for proper aeration.

    • It will be ready in 4-5 days, indicated by a mild, earthy smell and foam formation.

  3. Important Tip: Always stir the slurry with a stick before each use to activate the microbes.

Application & Dosage

  • Dilution: Mix the entire 50-liter prepared slurry into 150 liters of water (making a total of 200 liters).

  • Rate: Apply the full 200 liters per acre, once every month.

  • Method: Apply through drip irrigation or release into canal water for uniform distribution to the root zone.

  • Key Restriction: Do not mix or apply simultaneously with chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Maintain a gap of at least 7-10 days.

Key Benefits & Expected Results

  1. Holistic Nematode & Pest Control: Fungi like Paecilomyces and Beauveria actively parasitize and reduce harmful nematode and insect populations.

  2. Enhanced Root System: Promotes prolific growth of healthy, white feeder roots, improving anchorage and nutrient absorption.

  3. Vigorous Plant Growth: Leads to more tillers in cereals, more shoots in vegetables, and overall stronger plant structure.

  4. Improved Yield & Quality: Encourages better flowering, fruit set, and uniform fruit development.

  5. Unlocks Soil Fertility: Makes existing nutrients (both applied fertilizers and native soil minerals) bioavailable to plants, improving fertilizer use efficiency.

  6. Disease Suppression: Creates a protective microbiome around roots, outcompeting and inhibiting pathogenic fungi and bacteria.

  7. Soil Structure Improvement: Microbial activity enhances soil aggregation, aeration, and water retention over time.

  8. Sustainable Soil Health: The diverse 15+ group consortium ensures long-term, balanced soil biology, making farming more resilient and productive.

Embrace the power of beneficial microbes. Nourish your soil, protect your crops, and boost your yields—the natural way.
