Bio slurry is a liquid mix of 15+ beneficial microorganisms like Azotobacter (nitrogen fixer), PSB (phosphate solubilizer), KMB (potash mobilizer), Trichoderma (biocontrol), Pseudomonas (disease suppression), and fungi like Beauveria and Metarhizium (pest control). It enhances soil health, promotes plant growth, and protects crops naturally.
Bacteria Present in the Slurry
- N.P.K. Bacteria (for Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium)
- Trichoderma V. + H.
- Pseudomonas
- Bacillus
- Paecilomyces and
- Other (Ferrous, Zinc, Silicon, Sulfur)
- V.B.M.
Method for Preparing the Slurry
Take 50 liters of water and soak the 1.5 kg packet in it. Add 1 kg of jaggery and 500 grams of besan (gram flour) powder. Stir the mixture 2-3 times a day. The slurry will be ready after 4-5 days.
Method of Using the Slurry
The prepared slurry can be released into 150 liters of water and applied once every month through drip irrigation or via canal water.
(Tip: Before each use, the slurry should be stirred with a stick).
Do not use it along with chemical fertilizers. Prepare and use 200 liters of slurry for one acre of land.
Benefits of Using the Slurry
- Nematodes are controlled. White roots (beneficial roots) increase.
- Results in more tillers/shoots, more flowers, and more fruits.
- Enables the uptake of all the fertilizers and micronutrients present in the soil.
