Metarhizium anisopliae for Banana

Metarhizium is an entomopathogenic fungus that kills pseudostem borer (Odoiporus longicollis), corm weevil (Cosmopolites sordidus), root aphids, and soil grubs. It infects insects through contact.
How to use in banana:

Soil drench: Mix 2–3 kg powder or 2–3 L liquid in 200 L water per acre. Apply at planting and at 4 months.

Pseudostem injection (for severe borer): Mix 10 g powder in 1 L water and inject into borer holes.
Best time: At planting for prevention; repeat when borers appear.
