BTI Nova Liquid is a biological larvicide containing Bacillus thuringiensis var. israelensis (BTI), developed for managing susceptible fungus gnat larvae in mushroom cultivation. It is intended for use in button mushroom farms, mushroom compost, casing media and commercial mushroom growing environments.

Fungus gnats are a common pest problem in mushroom farming. Their larvae develop in moist growing media and may damage mushroom mycelium, while adult flies can contribute to pest movement within mushroom houses.
