Groundnut (Arachis hypogaea), also known as peanut or moongphali, is an important oilseed crop cultivated across Chitradurga, Tumakuru, Ballari, Raichur, Koppal, Bagalkot, Vijayapura, Belagavi, Dharwad and other agricultural regions of Karnataka.
