KMB for Rice – Stronger Stems, More Grains, Higher Yield

In rice, potassium is the nutrient that builds strong, erect straw that can support heavy grain heads without lodging. It also improves the translocation of sugars from leaves to grains, resulting in more grains per panicle and higher milling quality. KMB works by continuously unlocking soil potash, feeding your paddy crop efficiently and sustainably.

How to apply KMB on rice:

For seed treatment (to give your paddy a strong start):

  • For powder: Mix 100g of Bactostore's KMB powder in a solution with enough water to coat 10 kg of seeds. Coat the seeds evenly and shade dry for 30 minutes before sowing.

  • For liquid: Mix 100 ml of Bactostore's KMB liquid with enough water to coat 10 kg of seeds and apply the same way.

For soil application (for field‑wide potassium mobilisation):

  • Mix 1-2 kg of Bactostore's KMB powder (or 1-2 litres of liquid) with 100-200 kg well‑decomposed FYM.

  • Broadcast this mixture evenly over the puddled field during the last ploughing and incorporate it into the soil.
