KMB for Vegetables – Better Fruits, Higher Yield, Longer Shelf Life

Potassium is the quality nutrient for vegetables. It determines fruit colour (redness of tomatoes, purple of brinjal), sugar content (sweetness of capsicum, beans), and post‑harvest shelf life. Without enough potassium, your vegetables will be small, pale, and will rot quickly. KMB unlocks the hidden potash in your soil, giving you premium‑quality, high‑yielding vegetable crops.

How to apply KMB on vegetables:

For soil application at planting (for best fruit quality):

  • For powder: Mix 1-2 kg of Bactostore's KMB powder with 100-200 kg of well‑decomposed FYM per acre. Broadcast evenly during land preparation and incorporate into the topsoil.

  • For liquid: Mix 1-2 litres of Bactostore's KMB liquid with the same amount of FYM and apply.

For root dip of seedlings (for tomatoes, brinjal, chilli):

  • Mix 10 ml of KMB liquid (or 10g of powder) in 1 litre of water.

  • Dip the roots of seedlings in this solution for 10 minutes before transplanting.

For established plants (soil drench):

  • For powder: Mix 100-200g of KMB powder in 10 litres of water and drench the root zone.

  • For liquid: Mix 100-200 ml of KMB liquid in 10 litres of water and drench.

Important tips for Alappuzha vegetable farmers:

  • KMB is especially effective for tomato, brinjal, chilli, okra, beans, and cucurbits.

  • Do not mix KMB with chemical fungicides – they will kill the beneficial bacteria.
