Buy Trichoderma for Cardamom — Best Time to Apply and Dosage for Maximum Protection

Knowing when and how to apply Trichoderma is as important as the product itself. For maximum protection of your cardamom plantation, follow this seasonal application calendar.

Best time to apply Trichoderma for cardamom:

  • Pre‑monsoon (April‑May): This is the most critical application. Apply Trichoderma before the onset of the monsoon to protect your plants from stem rot and to give the beneficial fungus a chance to colonise the root zone.

  • Post‑monsoon (September‑October): A second application after the rains helps control Azhukal (capsule rot) and replenishes the Trichoderma population in the soil.
